Privacy is at the center of every decision I make, and I've made hard commitments to protecting your privacy when you visit my little corner of the internet.

For starters, I don't use Google Analytics or any other "tracking" cookies that follow you around.

What data do I collect?

A few things to consider:

This website may link to external sites (e.g. Facebook). I have no control over the content or privacy practices of these sites, and I cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

What about minors?

I often write for a young adult audience, and I realize minors under the legal age of adulthood may visit this site and subscribe to email updates. I do not collect names, physical adddresses, or any other personal identifying information.

Neither my books nor my email newsletter are intended for minors under the age of thirteen.

Please do not visit this website or subscribe to email updates when it would be a violation of the law in your legal jurisdiction (e.g. state, territory, province, or country).

If you are a parent or guardian who believes your minor has submitted their email address, and you would like to have it removed, please contact me and I will investigate and/or remove it from my mailing list.

A word about LGBTQ+ content.

Many of the characters I write about are queer. They're also clever, funny, curious, jealous, hopeful, and depressed—just like any other human.

If you're offended by the existence of LGBTQ+ characters, or viewing such content is illegal where you live, kindly consider exploring something else.
