  • Hometown: Edwards, Colorado U.S.A.

  • Education: Metropolitan State University of Denver, B.A. in Anthropology (focus on Archaeology)

  • Favorite Food: Indian or Mexican, though my favorite single food still has to be pizza. Peruvian and Mediterranean cuisine both get a well-deserved honorable mention. Oh, and Uzbek, and Sichuan, and Nepalese, and Nigerian, and Ethopian, and excuse me because I have to go eat now. I’m sorry if I missed your country—I’m sure the food is really good.

  • Current Location: The Albanian Riviera on the Ionian Sea, where I’ve lived for six years.

Are you a real person? Um, yes. Just because I don’t use social media doesn’t mean I don’t exist. Last time I checked, I wasn’t an AI agent (or I’d have a lot more money), and I still type my books one word at a time. Also, I clean my own toilet.Wouldn’t social media help you sell more books? Probably, but I’ve never enjoyed it or been good at curating a consistent online presence. I’d rather spend my time writing and living in the analog world. It’s just my choice, and I mean nothing against people who find joy and connection through social media.Why do you write about LGBTQ+ characters? The short answer is because they exist. But mostly, I try to write the books I wished I’d had when I was younger.How can I find out about new books? Just go back to the home page and subscribe to email updates. I won’t share your email address or flood your inbox, but I do send out new book updates, sample chapters, and the occasional special offer.Can I ask you another question?
